Jay Park's album "New Breed" sells 80,000 copies

Jay Park's latest album, “New Breed,” was able to sell 80,000 copies since its release on February 10th. It was also revealed that he topped the Hanteo Charts, which tracks physical and offline sales for an album.

The record is said to be a good achievement for Jay Park as he participated in the production of all tracks in the album. Aside from that, Jay Park also created the music and wrote the lyrics to at least 80% of the tracks. He also received collaborations from other producers such as Rob Know, who previously produced Justin Timberlake's albums, as well as Korean act, Dynamic Duo.

“New Breed” also ranked well on iTunes Hip-Hop/R&B charts and Billboard's World Album chart. At the moment, Jay Park is promoting his title track, “Know Your Name,” and preparing for his concert, “New Breed Live in Seoul,” on March 3rd to be held at the Seoul Olympic Park Olympic Hall.
