On the March 7th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Golden Fishery Radio Star,’ the ‘sensitive idols’ of group 2AM, Jokwon, Changmin, Seulong and Jinwoon made a guest appearance. Here are just some of the many topics they covered on this 2AM comeback special.
Jokwon on Sunye’s public relationship
Jokwon confessed his true feelings about Wonder Girls member Sunye revealing her relationship to the public.
He stated,
“I had many worries. Since Sunye was 13 years old, we’ve been childhood friends. I’m scared for noona. It’s somehow strange for me to start seeing my friends date. At first, I was worried she would get hurt, so I tried to stop her from publicizing her relationship. However, a few days ago, we ate a meal together, and when we spoke about how we’ve been these days, Sunye really seemed to be of sound mind and happy.”
On Jokwon’s first kiss
When asked if he really had never experienced a first kiss, Jokwon said that he actually had and that it was after his debut, a surprise even to his fellow 2AM members.
The MCs continued to press him for more information, asking about where it had taken place, but Jokwon only blushed and said, “I don’t know,” arousing much curiosity from everyone.
On the Seulong-Sohee scandal
Recently, Seulong and Wonder Girls’ Sohee have been entangled in rumors concerning a romance between the two idols, so it was natural for the conversation to shift to this hot topic on this day’s episode.
Seulong explained,
“We originally had a close relationship. The members also know all about it.”
When the MCs asked why they had met on Christmas, Seulong responded,
“It just so happened to fit with our schedules.”
In addition, Seulong was interrogated about the 4 shopping bags that seemed to be gifts to Sohee.
“Among those, 3 were cookies and snack foods. I bought them when I went to Japan. Sohee is rather introverted and has few friends, so we’ve been close friends since elementary school.”
On Seulong’s relationships with female models
In light of the scandal mentioned above, the episode also introduced the close relationships Seulong has with beautiful stars. “We hear that you are close to Lee Min Jung, Son Ye Jin and Hye Park?” asked the MCs.
Seulong confirmed and talked about global model Hye Park.
“She is a model who goes to big fashion shows. We talked on the phone once.”
Changmin sighed, “I’m so jealous.”
In response, Seulong revealed,
“I try to take (Changmin) out, but he doesn’t go. I thought Changmin had problems.”
On Jinwoon being a CEO’s son
When asked how he had bought a 100-pyeong house in Cheongdam-dong, Jinwoon answered,
“It’s not a typical family house but the living accommodations used by After School‘s Kahi and Son Dambi.”
In fact, he has his own band practice room in his house. Jinwoon explained,
“My father is an executive at a company, and my mother does interiors. My father’s line of work is difficult; even I don’t really know what it is.”
The 2AM members also exposed Jinwoon’s extravagant lifestyle.
“When he turned 21 years old, they hired a party planner and threw him birthday party. Many celebrities attended the celebration. When we opened the door and entered, the party planners instructed us to ‘Jinwoon-ah I love you’ when Jinwoon blows out his candles on his cake and is presented with flowers.”
Jokwon crowned the ‘devoted son idol’
When asked what was the best way in which he spends his money, Jokwon responded,
“I bought my parents a house and a car each for my father and mother. Every time I leave to go to a foreign country for filming, I buy presents. Consequently, I also buy a lot of white peaches.”
On Jokwon, the self-proclaimed kkab king
An episode with Jokwon is not complete without any mention of his kkab. MC Kim Gura asked,
“Lee Joon, Kwanghee and Sung Jong appear to be candidates for Jokwon’s kkab title. What do you think about that?”
Jokwon answered,
“The styles of kkab are all different. Lee Joon and Kwanghee are quite interesting and funny, and their original characters are stubborn. Sung Jong is at least similar to mine. He has the same greed to do lots of girl group dances.”
