Part 1 of the ‘I Need a Fairy’ OST contains 4 songs that are each as distinctive as the separate personalities of the sitcom.
SS501‘s main vocal, Heo Young Saeng, is actively pursuing solo activities and sings the first title song called ‘Love Song,’ which is a song composed by the famous Ryu Won Kwang, who has worked on many drama OSTs. His participation is particularly peaking the interest and anticipation of fans, for Heo Young Saeng is also scheduled to take the acting challenge and make an appearance in ‘I Need a Fairy.’
Also receiving attention is the ending theme song of ‘I Need a Fairy,’ titled ‘Fairy and Ali Baba.’ Participating on this track is Jo Sung Min, who has been known for 015B, honorary vocalist Red+, as well as Subway‘s main vocalist. The song exudes an Oriental flavor and alluring exotic sound that shows off his unique vocals.
The third track, ‘She’s a Star,’ is a song that richly stimulates the senses with the soft unique voice and soothing guitar sound of the Korean-American YouTube star and musician David Choi.
Lastly, acting in ‘I Need a Fairy’ as the character Geum Mo Rae, Choi Jung Won is catching eyes with his contribution to the OST, the song ‘To You Listening to My Song Somewhere,’ which is a lyrical acoustic remake of 015B’s hit song that charms the soul with the addition of Choi Jung Won’s light, clean vocals.
In the meantime, ‘I Need a Fairy’ pleasantly portrays the Republic of Korea from the eyes of a fairy that has fallen from heaven into the lives of a mother and daughter, Chae Hwa (played by Hwang Woo Seul Hye) and Wang Mo (played by Shim Hye Jin), respectively, and learns from their perspective. The broadcast brings laughter to the home theaters every weekday night at 7:45 PM.
