Idol star Nicole became the center of attention after a Japanese snack commercial featuring KARA was lauched at a press conference.

The snack is a healthy low-calorie one, whose commercial concept is “Overweight KARA.”

The commercial starts with all five members dressed in a sexy gold outfit, dancing to their song “Speed Up.” Amongst them is an overweight Nicole, who presumably has gained weight from excessive snacking. The commercial then goes on to show Nicole eating the low-calorie snack and regaining her slim figure.

Nicole stated, “It took two hours just for make-up. Even though it was scary, it was the first time I've done something like this, so it was fun.”

Member Goo Hara added, “I enjoyed looking at Nicole's new image.”

KARA's commercial will be broadcasted beginning on April 14th.
