After the news scandal of the CEO of Open World Entertainment exploded onto the k-pop scene last week, the public has been concerned about the future of the acts from the agency.
The CEO is currently being investigated for accusations from agency trainees and singers of sexual harassment and assault.
One of the repercussions of all this is being felt by idol group The Boss, who has reportedly caneled the release of their new album.
Originally, The Boss was planning on releasing their first full-length album in Korea on April 17th, but because of the recent series of events, the album has been canceled.
This is all the more unfortunate because The Boss was really starting to gain recognition, albeit in Japan. Their single “Jumping” was released in Japan last March, and the song climbed to #3 on the Oricon Daily Chart and #5 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
