The script reading session was held at the MBC center in Ilsan.
According to reports in local news agencies, prior to leading the cast into the script reading session, director Kim Sang spent an hour of planning to give context to the drama and provide background information. The director also earnestly explained details relating to “Arang and the Magistrate.”
“Arang and the Magistrate” is Lee Jun Ki’s first drama since his discharge from military service in February 2012. It is also Shin Min Ah’s first historical fusion drama, and her comeback to the small screen since “My Girlfriend Is Gumiho.” Yoo Seung Ho completes the cast.
