SBS “K-Pop Star” contestant Yoon Hyunsang and female soloist IU have became labelmates.

On June 22nd, LOEN Entertainment said, “Yoon Hyunsang has signed an exclusive contract with LOEN Entertainment and has begun preparing for his debut. The skills and emotions that he displayed on the air helped our evaluation to sign him.”

Yoon Hyunsang took part of the survival audition “K-Pop Star” and advanced to the finals, however, was eliminated during the “TOP 7.”

LOEN Entertainment producer Cho Youngchul said explained one of the reasons behind the decision to sign him was that after meeting Yoon Hyunsang several times, he saw that the “K-Pop Star” contestant had it in him to become a singer-songwriter that the public would enjoy.
