Korean actress Jung Yumi has been selected to play the female lead in the upcoming drama “City Conquest.” Earlier today, Neos Entertainment confirmed that Jung Yumi officially signed the contract and will play the female lead alongside Kim Hyunjoong.

The representative was also quoted saying, “Jung Yumi was looking forward in starring in this production because she wanted to show the audience a different side of herself as an actress from her previous works.” She will play the role of jewelry designer Lee Danbi, who will be associated with a man seeking revenge with society. Jung Yumi was known for her roles in SBS “Rooftop Prince” and “A Thousand's Day Promise.”

“City Conquest” is drama adaption of Shin Hyungbin's comic book and will focus on Kim Hyunjoong's character seeking revenge for his family.
