Actress Cho Yeojung and actor Kim Kangwoo have recently announced that they will be playing the lead roles in an upcoming KBS drama tentatively titled “Lovers of Haeundae.”
Cho Yeojung will be portraying Go Soran, the heiress of a gang member who lives in Busan, and Kim Kangwoo will be playing a prosecutor named Lee Taesung. Events comically unfold when Kangwoo’s character must live with Soran’s family due to memory loss. With a total of 16 episodes, the drama plans to air every Monday and Tuesday on KBS.
“Lovers of Haeundae” will begin filming early next month on Haeundae Beach in Busan. The drama has high expectations, as it was written by Hwang Eunkyung, noted for writing MBC’s “New Heart” and SBS’s “City Hunter.”
Cho Yeojung is currently co-starring with actors Kim Dongwook and Kim Minjoon in the controversial film, “The Concubine.” Kim Kangwoo has also been busy with activities, having just finished filming the thriller movie “Miracle” with actor Kim Bum. Recently, he has been promoting his film “The Taste of Money.”
