JYJ's Yoochun was reported to have left the “2012 JYJ Membership Week” event early due to a serious eye infection.

According to C-JES Entertainment, Yoochun's eyes had already been feeling uncomfortable the day before the grand opening of the “2012 JYJ Membership Week,” so he decided to visit the hospital on the opening day of the fan meet. After receiving treatment, Yoochun immediately rushed to the site of the event, but because his eyes were swollen to the point where his shades could not conceal them, he decided to leave early and will thus not take part in the “2012 JYJ Membership Week” activities until his eyes recover.

While some fans were disappointed by the news, many preferred to have their idol fully recover than to attend the event at his eyes' expense. Furthermore, JYJ's Junsu and Jaejoong will still be in attendance at the fan meet.

The “2012 JYJ Membership Week” is a JYJ fan meet held at the SETEC Convention Hall in Seoul. Scheduled to run from June 28 to July 1, this event is the first large scale fan meet to ever be held in Korea. With over 15,000 Korean fans and 7000 Japanese fans in attendance, the “2012 JYJ Membership Week” will become an annual event as C-JES has already stated that they are making plans for future “JYJ Membership Weeks.”
