It has already been ten years since Seven debuted in 2003. For the last ten years, he stayed in YG Entertainment. Recently, he talked about the president Yang Hyunseok and the training system of YG. “Most of all, it is automony that defines the uniqueness of the YG system,” he said. He also stated that he had never had vocal training during his early years at YG. “It is upto individual artist to develop his or her own genre and style. The company is known for its free environment.” He alsd commented about the personality of Yang Hyunseok.  ”He was very strict even few years ago, but now he is so mellow. I think he changed a lot after the marriage and the birth of his daughter.” 

Seven confessed that his darkest hours were when he stayed in America, which he evaluates as “failure.” He clairified that he has no further plan for activities in U.S. and wants to focus on his Korean fans who waited for him for all those years. His biggest dream now is producing his own album.
